Newborn Buds Class

What topics are covered in this class?

The Buds classes are our 4-week, flock-forming, core curriculum classes taken during those hardest first 12 weeks. Ideal for first-time parents amd those who are new to the area. The first four weekly sessions will be led by a Birth Roots facilitator. Following those four weeks, we will offer unfacilitated time to gather with your Buds group, as well as past and future Buds participants, and continue building connection. These weeks are optional for the primary cargiver and newborn couplet to attend, and will take place in our second floor community space, the Treetop Classroom.

When should I register & when should I take this class?

These classes are often full with waitlists, so we recommend signing up three months in advance, around 32 weeks of pregnancy. This class is for newborns 0-12 weeks, and you should plan to start class when your baby is 2-8 weeks old. Register for the session that begins the month after your due date (Ex. If your due date is May 10th, register for the session that begins in June. Adjustments can be made due to earlier or later than expected arrivals).

What is the difference between Buds and Buds for Two?

Buds is specifically designed for the parent who is the primary caregiver in the first. Buds for Two class that is designed to accommodate two parents/caregivers attending.  Not your first kiddo? Join us in the Lil Sibings newborn class.
